IMMEDIATE OPENING for an experienced Restaurant General Manager for a full service restaurant located in Patchogue. Salary Range $50K to $60K (depending on experience) together with bonus & benefits including Medical, Dental & Vision, Life Insurance, a Flexible Spending Account, and Paid Time Off. Candidates should have at least 6 months previous restaurant management experience. An ideal candidate will have a fun and outgoing personality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in all operations, ensuring excellence in guest service and satisfaction

Manage shifts which includes: daily decision making, scheduling, and planning while ensuring consistency in the delivery of high quality food and service

  • Motivates employees and utilizes leadership skills through ongoing training, development, and follow up
  • Inspects establishment and observes workers and guests to ensure compliance with occupational, health and safety standards, and liquor regulations
  • Assist the General Manager with all financial and personnel related administrative duties, and ensuring all is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage as a floor manager 2 days a week
  • Closes the restaurant min 1 day a week, after either serving or greeter
  • Complete all opening and closing checklists to ensure the restaurant is properly opened and closed
  • Continued education of the staff on the standards of service and food knowledge
